Meeting voters at Mason Farmers Market, a local Yoga teacher expressed concern about the impact of climate change, energy, and environmental issues in Fairfax County and Mason District. Gary listened and understood her point of view.
Gary has made environmental safety a key part of his platform. A green, clean Mason District attracts new businesses and new residents. It also ensures that streams are taken care of so that flash flooding doesn’t damage property or potentially hurt residents.
The Board of Supervisors has failed Mason District citizens, despite having the Environmental Chair as our Supervisor. Inattention to pollution, lakes and stream maintenance, trash in our empty lots and sidewalks creates nuisance and impedes economic revitalization.
Citizens at the Market agreed it’s time for change. They agreed that Gary Aiken is that change needed now in Mason District. It is vital to Mason’s quality of life to vote Gary Aiken for Mason District Supervisor on November 5th. For more information, go to www.garyaiken.org.
