Gary Aiken, Mason District Supervisor candidate, got big support from family, friends and neighbors with one thing on their minds – door knocking.
Tariq and Sonia Rehman, Gary’s neighbors, came to the outreach training given by Gary after the Mason Republican breakfast at Magill’s Famous Buffet restaurant in Annandale. Their sons, Rayyan, 13, and Nayel, 11, were eager to join the Aiken team to connect with voters at the grassroots level. Gary’s sons, Emmett, 11, and Tyler, 9, were there to support their dad, as well.
In fact, sporting his custom-designed “Gary Aiken for Supervisor” T-shirt, Emmett was not shy about standing to assist his dad in making an advisory point or two about what to say when people open their doors to convince them that his dad would be the best choice to vote for on November 5 for Mason District Supervisor.
